Sounds like you should go start your own forum and make your own rules.
Bringing up how prices of fuel will be going up drastically in the not so distant future plays in very much when discussing a full size truck that people will own for awhile.

This is dangerous TW territory. Government policies influence energy prices as well as many other factors.

I understand that. But the comment is that the US Govt. raises gas prices. They do not.

Or perhaps I can make a request that certain things not be discussed on my thread, because they can lead to certain discussions that go against tw rules and could get the thread shutdown.

gas prices are fine to discuss. Opinions, or bringing government influence into the discussion, isn’t.

You are correct the government does not determine the price of gasoline but the state and federal government apply taxes to the sale of gasoline to the public. That is my point here

It is all about education some people on here seem to be perplex that state and federal government apply taxes to every gallon of gasoline you buy. You are a driver regardless of what vehicle you are driving and you don’t understand that fed and state taxes are being applied to every gallon of gas you buy. Otis only going to get worse as states and feds are going to influence the public to switch to hybrid and electric vehicles in the future. I did not create this game I am just playing the game for what it is worth

Nobody is asking you to continue, but I am asking you to stop talking about it. The tundra reveal has nothing to do with the government and gas prices.

it is not the point of continue many folks on here are concern that the new tundra went to a v6 from a v8 This all has to to with environmental concerns. I am basically just saying get use to it. The world is changing and Toyota and other vehicles recognize this. Some people just don’t seem to understand that fed and state taxes are applied to every gallon of gasoline we buy. It is simple education of the public. No one is being disrespectful. I think it is good dialogue and educational.

4 link suspension across the lines. I think the 300 series Landcruiser and 2022 Tundra share the same frame , Tundra could be longer, but the rear suspension is the same. Imagine a 4 link Tacoma?

I’m just asking that y’all quit talking about anything government related in here. Because that quickly turns to shit on this website. Idc if it is related to gas or not, go talk about that shit elsewhere lol. Just don’t want a thread shutdown because y’all won’t let something go. Good grief.
