@81Trekker I don’t feel right about honing in on you earlier. It’s obvious you have a loyal customer base and you care about their satisfaction first and foremost. That’s the reason I went with you guys over the others in the first place. I don’t know why I became so fixated on that one comment. I meant well, but my intentions did not match my execution. No excuse for doing that. I apologize. Keep up the good work.

Is the black thing at the bottom of the reservoir a filter?

I paid up front on my 62 swap. I think my next steps will be LCA Pivots, Howe pump, slide rack, +2. Somewhere along the way I'll finally finish my sliders and skids and get a HC rear.

Where tf did you see that my eyes aren't so good I guess  But yes typically aftermarket set up have a filter just like any lubricated part contaminants can eat away at things and when you got $$$$$ wrapped up in expensive parts you want to protect them.

Does the 2.25" LT kit requires 8" coil overs immediately or it's something that can be installed some time after like what Camburg offers with their LT? Just asking :anonymous:

I mean you might could run a lift spacer but it wouldn't do what it's designed to do and wouldn't get you any travel over mid and might actually be worse.

Yeah figured, just hard to get hands on reasonably priced 8" now living in the "North" so building in stages would be easier.

Funny you should ask! We were just having this discussion yesterday and after some measurements it looks like OEM Fox and King shocks will work. There will be some travel loss but as you described it will allow you to do the LT in stages.

Next week I will cycle a truck out with the OEM king/fox shocks and report back with the exact specs.

Oh man. I can do this in stages? This news is going to ruin my life. Or at least my wallet.

Oooo, very interested in these results. The main reason I've been ruling out a LT kit is cause I've already spent my bank on what mid travel kit i have. King 2.5" ext in front. Was debating the the TC LCA expiditions for a while, but for the same price I could start a conversion to the long travel instead.
