Nice. I wanted one but the prices just keep going up. Cheapest large enough for a vehicle is like >$150/mo

Side note, would love to own a storage facility one day. Seems like a really good investment

 

I get 17-18 on the highway in the 04 V6, DC, 4.10, 32s, auto. I think that’s about what it’s estimated to get.

Flatbed is a V6, 4.10, MT, on 32s and averages 14 city but I drive it aggressively. Limited highway testing. Usually was too busy when I was driving it for work to pay attention to mileage.

 

Tundra rocks a solid 17-18 highway… 10-11 city…

 

For me it was all the things lead foot, low compression, auto and 32s

New coils, denso plugs, denso o2 sensor, clean maf, ngk wires, no codes

GARBAGE mpg

Even my Tacoma rocking 190ish psi of compression on all cylinders it was still only like 15

With the misfire on my tundra I'm getting about 1.75 miles per dollar whatever that equates to in mpg... Hopefully the injectors I ordered get here at some point and actually fix the misfire problem

 

Guess I could check compression, but I just redid the whole top end. Lapped valves and everything

 

Ehhh. Find a scanner to borrow or buy that can log fuel trims. Doubt you’ve got a compression issue causing mpg issues without a rough idle

 

I have Torque Pro and a wideband, AFR's not the issue

 

Id love to have 2 bigass dobermans. But unfortunately I have no time to give to dogs.

Just watched a stock Turd genner get boxed in by everyone around him cause he thought it was a good idea to flash people with his roof rack LED light bar. He went from 70 to 55 for a good 5 minutes it seemed.

Man, it is really painful watching that video.

Got suckered in because of the thumbnail.

Also, his mention of the emergency trauma kit IE tourniquet and quick clot, was mentioned with head injuries. Hope he misspoke because quick clot isn't something I'd ever recommend to someone who doesn't know how it works or has never used it before.

 

Thanks for bringing that up. I see it needs some understanding. I would post in the video comments. I haven't used a clotting powder since the days of a Gillette flat razor. I forgot all about it.

 

I didn't recall seeing a snake bite kit. Did I just miss it?

 

Some items listed there are good to have, and I'm talking small things I bet people forget like nail clippers and tweezers.

Funny cause those are always in my 4R in a small baggy, and I let someone in class use it recently cause they had a metal splinter in their hand.

But as far as quick clot, in a hurry someone can easily expose certain areas of the body that can cause more harm even like the eyes, nose, or mouth. I've used the stuff in the military to that; prior to that I had never heard of it.

Certain areas have some gnarly snakes where, I don't think a kit would help if you can't get to the next echelon of care right away. But who knows, it could help/save someone.

I guess I'm just saying the same thing we all say about recovery gear; what good is it if we don't know how to use it.

 

For sure. I think having something like a Garmin InReach or equivalent for communication outside of coverage areas could be my next purchase.

I remember when I was a kid, my dad had one of those storage containers you mount to the roof of your van loaded with family supplies for one of our xmas vacations.
