If you are looking into a good out of state college, Tulane University is a good one to go to, it's located in New Orleans Louisiana. Ive met a good bit of people that go here and they are from New York, Cali, AZ, Colorado, etc.

Oh. You must be referring to the law that makes it illegal to be here illegally.

I wouldn't recommend you come here then. CA is probably the state for you.

On another note coming from Northern California to AZ was probably the best thing I could have done.

    Funny.

It's mostly the hot weather I can't stand. It'd take some getting used to

    Stay out of Seattle.

We've already got too many damn Californians here. (although I'm sure you're nice.)

    I'm just joking around.

But seriously, there are tons of CA people here. Almost everyone in Seattle is a transplant (myself included). If you're looking at Washington, then you'd be in Seattle.

I have a couple friends at Portland State that love it. If you are into the urban thing, I would at least visit it.

Illegal immigration has always been a problem in North America, just ask a Native American.
That said this quote also applies
"We should insist that if the immigrant who comes here does in good faith become an American and assimilates himself to us he shall be treated on an exact equality with every one else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birth-place or origin.

But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American and nothing but an American. If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn't doing his part as an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. . . We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language, for we intend to see that the crucible turns our people out as Americans, of American nationality, and not as dwellers in a polyglot boarding-house; and we have room for but one soul loyalty, and that is loyalty to the American people."
