Army Green thread: let’s keep it green!

Thank you, I appreciate it. I actually feel lucky and thankful to be alive. I am actually glad that this driver didn't kill a pedestrian or another driver.

 

I intercepted my AG OR DC this time last year. It arrived 10 weeks later in November. Well worth the wait. Looking back it was fun to try and figure out exactly how it would look. I’d only seen AG on a pro and a photoshopped pic on the Toyota website. I do know the 22 Pros have TRD PRO stamped into the side of the bed like the tundras do - pretty cool.

 

Pretty cool seeing what hard work and bloody knuckles have built… a little before and after shot..

 

Finally got my Enkei RPT-1's mounted. Stock height with a Toyo Open Country AT3 Tire(265/75/16). Love how it turned out, I first I wanted either dark bronze or black rims but I love how the gunmetal finish pairs with the army green. Super happy with the result!

You’re right- that gun metal really kicks ass with AG ! Super sharp truck!

 

Some info for you fellow AG owners looking at the factory lift. I had it installed. I like it. But dont let them over charge you. They may say the lift mayerials are 1499 plus install. Dealer tried to sell me the lift indtalled for 2499. I laughed at them then showed them the lift is selling online from dealers for 1200 and if they cant do it in 4 hours they need to seriously look at the quality of thier mechanics. Bottom line I paid 1450 installed. Fyi if your truck is under warranty and you install yourself it will void all suspension warranty. Also if you have it installed at time of purchase it has the factory 36000 mile warranty if done later its a 1 yr warranty.

There must be something in the air! This past weekend I also found a 21 AG at a Ford dealership. It’s a OR MT. The story was that the previous owner decided to buy a fifth wheel trailer, so traded this in on a super duty Ford. Mine doesn’t have all the cool mods yet, though. A blank canvas…

Long time lurker, first time poster... Glad to be a part of team army green! Many mods to come over the next month, had 5 months to buy a plethora of parts while waiting on this thing to arrive.

yeah it’s just a tarp. The topper doesn’t leak but my son is tall so we drop the tailgate. It was in the 30s and on cold nights we tarp and it stays crazy warm.

Thanks..super happy how the turned out color wise. Now I have a problem because everytime I'm walking away i have to look back at the truck multiple times and my neck hurts from doing so!

 

Our builds are almost identical. What tires you running? And are the sliders Cali Raised?

Edit: Nevermind on sliders, I see your mod list. Still interested in the tires.

This is wicked cool. The army would have been my color choice but it's not available on the sr5 for some reason. I m going to go with mgm.
