    absolutely the BEST time of year; it is now camping/hockey/bike riding/hiking time!!!

    SOOOO JEALOUS!!! I would love to be heading north to a cabin in the next 6 months...but I teach, so no long strings of days off to do so...

    Wife and I are heading off for a 12 day trip across northern Arizona (highway 40 corridor) on Monday the 4th. Taking her to see Grand Canyon, Sedona, Meteor Crater, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest..... and possibly a few other, lesser National Parks along the way. I've been, she hasn't seen any of these places yet, so should be a great trip.
