Headlight plates super easy took probably 10-15 mins. Changed the rear end oil also.

    Check build thread!
Washed and waxed the best I could, considering I did it in a parking lot.

Looks a LOT better. But it depends on your color scheme of your truck TBH.

*IF* your truck color scheme *IS* RED and BLACK... then it works of course. I totally agree with your mod though - it *works* great, and looks awesome as well.

I've been on the red/black color scheme for a year, but I absolutely *HATE* those stickers.
    Taco_ProGrill.jpg

Which is why I went with the TRD Off Road Badge instead (Amazon knock-off) but hey - it was red/black, so it worked for me.

New Project: RAV 4 knob replacement for Tacoma Trucks

Like a lot of Tacoma users - I absolutely *HATE* those little tiny knobs on the radio/entertainment console. They just DO NOT work. Period. Too damned small, too slick - and I have big fingers - so - NO.

    TIME for a CHANGE!
    90010-23059_Rav4_Knobs_2.jpg

So ordered a pair of the Rav 4 radio control knobs...
    90010-23059_Rav4_Knobs_1.jpg

You can immediately see the difference here side-by-side. BUT... how does it look?
    90010-23059_Rav4_Knobs_4.jpg

    Right control knob on...
    90010-23059_Rav4_Knobs_5.jpg

NOW the left is on. Big difference!
    90010-23059_Rav4_Knobs_6.jpg

OK. So work the same - push or turn, works fine. With the Rav 4 knobs, you can actually use one finger to turn then instead of two like the previous Tacoma knobs. They have this rubber grip around the edge, so makes it super easy to fine tune with one finger now. If anyone was thinking about this as an upgrade - I'd tell them 'Hell YES' but, its a bit pricey for the Toyota OEM versions. Cost me $11.31 each knob plus delivery. Got them off Amazon from a dealer plus a few other items, so it came to about $12.50 each ($25 total) for this upgrade.

Expensive - yeah, for two hunks of plastic sure. Worth it (to me) every penny. One less truck irritation for me. Visually now - it looks better (to me) as well as functionally. Let me know your thoughts.

Bulletpoint TacoBar arrived today. Got it installed. Really like how it looks. Not to see how good it functions.

That's a nicer looking dash cover than the one I bought. Who makes it? I could not zoom in enough to read the tag.

Can't believe how easy these were to put in with the "wet method". Never tried it before. Came out awesome.
