Okay so Ik this has prob been asked a billion times but I’m about to get new tires (bfg ko2) and I’m wanting to either do a 2 inch level or lift with a 3 inch front and 2 inch rear what do y’all think. I’m in between and looking for good advice I have a 3rd gen sport. Thanks

3rd gen sports can only be lifted a max of 1.5 inches. I would recommend the rough country kit.

Always a lift. Keep the truck useful.

On levels, just boosting the front will make seeing over the nose worse.

All 3rd gen Tacomas can be lifted any height based on your needs and wants a TRD Sport is no different from any other variant.

With that said after careful consideration for my needs I have chosen the Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 kit with a 1 inch diff spacer block for the rear. The front is adjustable from 0 to 2.5 inches. It can be adjusted on the vehicle too. Just jack up the front, adjust and set back down. I also prefer to maintain the factory rake as much as possible.

Bilstein is also an excellent choice.

    And Lift over Level.

Get the 2" Bilstein 5100 2/1 lift. Basically the same as the OEM TRD lift.

Don't do spacers in the front.

And rough country is great if you're cruising the mall. I wouldn't actually use them if I'm going to beat on the truck at all

Do the bilstein 5100 combo with ome springs or eibach stage 1 over the pucks. Either one can be adjusted to your liking and will only run you 5-600 bucks. Either one will be a vast improvement over your current setup. And can keep your factory uca.

    Bilstein 5100's @ 2.0", Wheelers 1.5" AAL, 265/75/16's
I just ordered Bilstein 5100's and a wheelers 1.5inch add a leaf for the rear, I am going to use my stock springs on the billys on the top notch. I like a little bit of rake and if your going to tear apart the front end you might as well do it right and be done.

Put the bilstein 5100 up front on the 4th notch. Leveled it out perfectly and been really happy with the ride and appearance.

My plan is 5100s front/rear and AAL and call it done for about 1.5" lift.

Not sure if you're going with single leaf or 3 leaf progressive, but my Wheelers 3 leaf AAL only gave about 1" of lift. I put the stock overload back in and it sits and rides nicely now.

That is just camera angles and light trickery. No way that is more than 1 inch over stock.

Did you align and/or change UCAs? Looks like you have some significant + camber going on there.

No, I was waiting to get it aligned when I put on new tires in about a month. I was expecting it to wear the outsides of the tires badly but it's been wearing very evenly so far. It's going into the tire shop shortly. Lol
