Curious which dealer? I’m assuming it’s sold, but that’s pretty exciting!

 

Dealers in Canada can't built 22 yet, so no personalized configuration. But they will get some trucks in lot to sell around Early Nov. Right now they still sell 21 models that come in lot every few weeks. Above is what I was told by the local dealer in lower mainland BC.

 

I was able to order a 2022 DCSB OR manual in Hawaii.

 

They’re definitely doing something funny as all the dealers in my area have 2022 pricing on all trim levels. They have complete ordering guides as well, with all the trims and colour options - I’ve seen it in person. They also have all their allocations coming in November/December as well. My order has an estimated delivery date of Nov.20th I’m in Alberta if that helps!

 

It was already sold apparently. Toyota Northwest in Edmonton. Very exciting indeed!

 

Apologies for quoting myself....but when I said a "couple of trucks" this morning I really meant TWO. There's now 50 listings about 12hr later on AutoTrader.

 

Well if you ever see those price lists again...I'd love to know what a 22 TRD OR AC 6M will be retailing for
It seems Toyota Canada has zero interest in refreshing their website for 2022 And my dealer has no idea when I might see my truck. I'm in NS.

 

Toyota US web site shows 21 and 22 pricing. Seems to be a $100 increase over 21s and very little if any model changes. Hopefully that will be the case here in Canada although I would like to see more colour choices for base model other than white/grey/black.

 

To those who have “ordered” in the US, what did the deposit look like? Was it refundable?

 

Off Road AC MT is unfortunately not a USA model, glad you guys get it.

 

My salesman told me the TRD OR is the only trim in Canada that offers Access Cab for 2022. No SR or SR5 access cabs.

And TRD OR access cabs only available in 4 colours in Canada. Black/white/mgm or blue crush.

Looks like access cab is going to get the axe in Canada in the near future....

 

Hoping to hear from my dealer soon. Checked in at the beginning of last week (9/20) and he said allocations were beginning but they were still waiting. I’ll probably check in again this upcoming week as it sounds like production is starting to move forward.

 

No SR or SR5 access cabs for Canada. Well, that sucks!

 

Check out Kijiji and search 2022 Tacoma refined to Alberta. There’s a few dealers with pricing on the 2022 listed. The dealer I bought from has a pre-order special for an Access cab Off road 6M for $43,288 plus tax. Seems like a great deal as another deal has an ad for the same vehicle for around $3K more! Hope that’s helpful in your hunting.

 

Talked to quite a few dealers and most have been $1,000, some lower at $500 with a combination of some refundable some non.

Dealers got the allocations for the southeast today and I was told they can not allocate trail editions or trd pro's still. Going to follow up on the 15th and 1st of the month(s) until they can. I figure early November they will come out worst case.

 

In Michigan it's apparently illegal for the deposits to not be refunded. I've had a dealer tell me it was non refundable, but then admit they can't actually keep it. $500 seems to be the going rate here.

 

The color is cool and I like the stamped bedside, but it will be a good min before the bring a desel option....=(

 

Take a look at Checkered Flag Toyota, Virginia Beach, VA. I bought two 4R's from them a few years ago. Did the deal on the phone, no surprises when I went up to get it. They are showing 3 of the Army Green in stock, and others in transit.
