Recommendations for a sight? I might have dropped my bow to prompt an early death for my CBE SL4. Tempted to get a one pin but who knows. Season starts in two days so my options are jerry rig or something in stock nearby

I shoot a cheap, 3 pin Tru Glow and I removed 2 pins. It's a simple sight, but works great (imo).

I like the one pin, so long as you have a dial to reference it to. But thats just personal preference

I’ve liked both of my 5 pin sliders I’ve had But at the same time, I’ve never had to slide it when hunting.

But it’s fun to have a 100 yard pin sometimes

I don't like the one pin for hunting. Just one more thing to worry about before the shot.

If you keep the shots under 35 yards there's absolutely nothing to think about, just put the pin on them. But I see you're out west, that's a totally different ball game.

I have a 3 pin fuse set at 20-30-40. Anything farther my top pin becomes my rover and it can dial out to 100. Best of both worlds.

You can reach out to 35yds before you get any drop? At sea level I need another pin after 20yds and where I'm now at 5000ft I can get out to 25yds before things start to drop. My bow is from 05 so I'm sure modern bows shoot flatter.

I sight in about an inch high at 20, probably get about 4" drop at 35, which is still in the kill zone. Low in the kill zone, but still in it.

    Yea bad Mike..
I miss my buddies tree stand
so I sit on a rock, and walk, and sit on a tree, and walk.

2 1/2 hours walking and I’m done.. Dam I’m friggin old..
    D38FAC27-A7B0-4324-ACD6-5555A4840EBE.jpg
so I went to every ground spot I know.
Everyone has a stand or blind on it.

So I’m going 150 yards down a trail behind my house and sit for this next week for a few hours each day.

Have to figure a sit spot. Won’t be easy, lots of blind area..
