Thank you. I am aware of the cmc even with 285s so I can imagine these 305s need at least the CMC.

I am wondering if he had to cut a lot more than just that. How aggressive the cuts had to be.

As long as I dont have to cut into the bumper, I wouldn't mind doing those trims. I wonder if he cleared when off roading.

The wide 305s look amazing. Right now I'm eyes the 295/75s

    2 inch lift.
    SPC UCAs.
Factory LCA adjusted for max positive caster/ moves wheel forward.
    CMC.
BFH to smash pinch weld flat.
Trimmed and reattached wheel well liner for more clearance.
    Some slight heat molding.
Trimmed front bumper very slightly, but you wouldn’t notice.
Trimmed lower part of black fender flare behind the tire.
Small piece of metal cut from lower fender in this same area.
0.75 inch wheel spacers necessary in front with this specific setup. Rear no spacers.

Yes, I did off road it and not just gravel roads. There were two specific times it would rub. #1 if you have the wheel barely turned and the tire stuffs it will rub very slightly on the lower corner of black fender flare at rear of tire (cab mount side). I did not want to cut it even more. Wasn’t bad enough to justify cutting more plastic and making it look weird.

#2 if you go full Baja and slam the front onto the bump stops you will hear your tires contact the plastic fender flares due to the width. This only happened once or twice and did not damage anything.

No regrets on the 305s. It looks mean as hell and just takes a little extra work to fit. If I ran 285s I would’ve been doing the same things to maximize my clearance. I can send you some pics of where I cut if you choose to go for it.

Anyone have a suggestion for a shop with a dyno near Portland?

Not looking to race tune the truck or anything goofy, just want to do some pulls before/after certain mods and have hard data.

    Non-truck related. I've got a Merc 7.5 2-stroke longshaft for sale:
    https://eugene.craigslist.org/bpo/d/eugene-mercury-75-hp-long-shaft/7388216331.html

Super lightweight and ideal for drift boats.

TW nerds will get a discount. She runs like a champ but I replaced it and now it's just collecting dust. Requires one small $30 repair to unclog the pump inlet (you'll want to replace the pump housing since you'll mar it when you pry it open). Might take an hour tops.

Anybody know of a shop in OR/WA that has done a header swap on a 4.7L? Have a GX470 and looking for someone to install Doug Thorley headers, but want a shop that has done it before. Any help appreciated...

    Aloha everyone!

After 3 long weeks I finally picked up my truck down at Tacoma port from it's 2nd journey across the Pacific. I'm going to be in the Seattle area for a bit until we go traveling south with a travel trailer (if we can find one that fits our needs) and I was toying with the idea of putting a sport front air dam on my OR to help with the MPG and air flow...

Does anyone have one gathering dust that they would be up for swapping for a six pack?

    Cheers, Mark
