Nice! I thought that tank looked familiar. I had a Hornet 250, that bike was fun.

Kool. I didn't even know there was a 250 model. These bikes are fun and a great platform for making it your own.
I also have a FZR400 track bike, but it was always a PIA getting it started and warmed up. Other than that, a couple of pit bikes for my kids and me.

    Right on, brother!
The green one is an X-Motos 38. Bought that for my daughter when she turned 14 years old. She's 16 now, so we're adding a light kit, along with a battery and Rectifier to make it street legal. This way she can ride with me with just a learner's permit.
My little boy's gonna have to wait a little longer, but at least he gets the Yamaha!

Yes. After I bought the bike for my daughter, I quickly realized I need one for myself, otherwise how can I teach her to ride?! Hahaha
I swapped out the Mikuni carb with a Nibbi, but that's about it.
So now that I'm making her bike street legal, I'm gonna need to get a dual purpose bike. Looking into a KLR 250 if I can find one at the right price. The bigger problem is whether or not the wife will notice. So maybe if I get a black/red KLR... Hmmm

man all this cali hate lol

not that it's unjustified. But my recent experiences with the DMV have been great compared to all my experiences growing up and using them.

I was able to handle my bike title transfer/registration renewal all online, and managed to finagle my way to the front of the line every time I needed to go in for my motorcycle license/permit. Never had an issue renewing license online either.

Only snafu was when they mis-typed my address on the bike title/registration renewal. Somehow the title made it safely, but the registration got lost. Called a number provided in the email confirmations from doing the online bit, got through to someone within 5 minutes, and they updated the address for me right then. Registration then showed up about a week later.

that being said, fuck so much else about CA lol.

Facebook market place can eat a dick. Apparently an AE86 2-way TRD LSD violated their policies.

guessing the "LSD" triggered their drug keyword filters. Put limited slip differential and I'm guessing you won't have problems

Appearantly “others” is a no no word too, something about “personality trait violation”

Added HD springs to the CT110, replaced the bent brake lever, installed new fender, swapped out fork oil to ATF, and trued my from the wheel.

The FSM calls for ATF. It’s basically 10w oil with seal preservatives and anti-foam. Previous owner has some thicker maybe 30w fork oil to overcome his weight. I went with the heavier springs.
