Testing ideas. Need some opinions. All white drl? Amber demon eyes with white drl? Or just Amber demon eyes? Still want to use OEM drl strip for turn signal.

Finished de-badging today. Started with removing the TRD Sticker from the bed about 2 days into ownership followed by the vinyl on the b-pillar at about 1 week and finally the chrome TACOMA from the doors and the V6 from the tailgate.

A little tip for you guys running catch cans.
Fill the can loosely with steel wool, it'll add alot more surface area for the oil to "catch" on to allowing it to catch more oil.

I agree. Had them go off when turn signals are on which is actually required by law here but really didn't like that. Changed it so they stay on.

Yep, I've seen various materials used, but same concept. Good note.

They slip right on fine and work like they were meant to be there. Only thing you have to modify for it to fit, is pull the little black ring off the back that is around the mounting post comes right off.

I bought my Rebel used and it came with the rails. I have always wondered if it came with the reinforced roof or not. I’m assuming so since it has the rails but how can one tell? Maybe by the thickness of the roof? Mine comes down on the inside maybe an inch. I tried contacting Snugtop but they never responded.

Getting ready for my SSO hybrid bumper that just got shipped after a 4 month wait. Ran the wiring for the light bar to a switch so I had to ditch the cubby which is where my bass control knob was since I ran out of room. So had to do a little modifying. Looks good I think.

I think you're right on roof coming down an extra inch... that said I don't have anything else to compare it to. It's almost like there is an inverted gutter around the edge of the roof and the whole center portion of the roof is beefcaked up that extra inch.

Edit: I think I quoted the wrong post. Meant to reply to @Nomad26

Your truck looks great!, I'm curious about the dash cover. I like how form fitting it is.
    Thanks

And for $498 shipped to my door, after the tacomaworld $100 discount, is a no brainer IMHO.

Was given a Storm case and decided to mount it today. It’s only going on when I need it for trips (like my awning and fly rod carrier). Probably put most of my recovery gear in it.

I practically have one on 4 of the 5 vehicles. Mine are generic, but are anodized in red, black, silver and blue. They do catch the nasty stuff before entering the engine :)!

Huh, check that out, my old knobs weren’t illuminated, but they have these little lights above each knob. I’ve never noticed that before… Glad my new knobs didn’t cover the lights!:D:thumbsup:588E929A-2F8C-4FBC-8DE9-DE28FC1CC5B5.jpg
