Coilovers, sway bars, wheels, tires, extended studs, intake, head and taillights, seats, short shifter,
$200 for that is a major steal and it looks fantastic!

Tried to replace my rear wheel bearing today, thought a cast floor flange would work, spoiler it did not. So trying to figure that out now. Always fun times around here

Good to know about the rinsing. I'm doing a PreRunner conversion and I picked up a 4x4 transmission for the parts I need to convert my current auto trans (4cyl auto). I do know that there is a smaller filter for the 2x4 and a larger one for the 4x4. Now I know I can use the one in the parts tranny. Which has a larger pan btw, which I'll use too.

Exhaust leak up front of the original (198k) muffler, then a pin hole in the muffler itself was super annoying....i broke down and ended up at a local exhaust shop.

Third time this year I've replaced the passenger side CV axle seal...hoping the third time was the charm today.

First time I just let the axle drive it in, started leaking again within a week. But it was a slow leak so I lived with it for awhile.

Second time I replaced it was last weekend. Used a seal driver and ended up driving it in a bit too far on one side and didn't want to damage it by trying to pull it back out. So I put it all together and the next day it was puking oil, lol.

So today I took it all apart again, froze the new seal overnight to make it easier to slide in and pulled the coilover out so I could go straight at the seal with the driver instead of having to work around it. Made it way easier. Measured the depth at a tad over the FSM recommended 4.5mm. I did have to back it out a tad in one corner, hoping I didn't screw up the spring on the back of the seal when I did.

Here's hoping it works :fingerscrossed: did a test drive around the block and so far so good. This seal is a temperamental bastard.

I tried to buy a new center console but they are discontinued and out of stock nationally. Had two ordered canceled. I needed the entire base and the armrest, which is not swappable with any '95.5-'00 armrest. Plus the wrong color. So I bought one from a wrecking yard in California. It was disgusting but nothing was broken. Cleaned it up and put it in today, with new cupholder inserts as well.

Bummer. It's not cheap, but it's not all that expensive either, really, to get the US-made puller tool from Donald. It's made the four axles that I've done super easy. (Note that unlike my photos, he's changed to a blue powder coat now, since there are some overseas knock-offs on the market that copied even his colors.)

Here's the link to the tool (Rear Wheel Axle Bearing Puller & Tone Ring Tool/Installer), and my writeup on how to use it (Step-by-Step Replacing Rear Axle Seal & Bearing).

Next up...early morning, did the steering rack and sway bar bushings... waiting on new driver side sway bar link.
Sometime in the next few days...front disks and brakes.

New timing belt, water pump, thermostat, valve cover seals, serpentine belts, tail light bulb, and readjusted led lights.

All done in my air conditioned garage. Best thing ever did in this south Florida heat

Here's how it looks from the driver side.

They're bolted directly to the Planted seat brackets.

Thats a sway bar bushing, not a steering rack bushing.

Doesn't look like too much carnage so that's good. Still sucks though, any signs before hand?
