This retractable tonneau has bed drain tubes both aft and stern. (Four)
Anyone have any good ideas or tricks on where to drill a drain hole? I only get one shot at this!

There are purposeful gaps at the cab end of the bed and the gate side. With channels in the bed for drainage. Unless you filled these gaps you aren’t watertight enough to need drain holes.
    I hope this has helped

I figured I’ll get a little water in from gaps, but assume the tonneau drain tubes will channel all the rain that falls onto that big flat cover.

unless someone a good idea where to drill a hole to put the tubes into; I’ll just live with it this winter and see how it goes.

of course im in california so we probably wont have any rain anyway. And the state will fine me for channeling public water without a permit and environmental impact report

Why not plug all the holes in box and collect the rain water. When you get a load, drive up and dump it in Lake Mead. Every little bit helps!

I have a Pace Edwards similar to yours, but only with 2 drain tubes (towards the cab). I drilled the holes as close to the front of the bed as practical and in-line left to right where they came out of the canister. This saves as much usable floor space as possible, too. Make sure you look under the bed prior to drilling for any wires or other possible problems - cross piece of metal, etc. I luckily have a set of drill bits for drilling thru sheet metal, so made nice, clean holes.
