I've been searching for a long time, and haven't really found anything.

Does anyone have any information on steel skid plates for 2wd 3rd gen Tacoma?
I already have a TRD Pro skid plate . . . . if that matters. I prefer to buy all the skids separately. I don't mind what color they are--black is absolutely fine.

Thanks in advance if anyone has anything useful :)

So you are keeping the Trd pro skid, but the others you want steel, correct?

Yes, I want steel, not aluminum. The TRD skid is just an exception :D

Only thing I can add is the 2nd gen prerunner and 4x4 frames are different. The IFS skid I got from SOS concepts bolted up just fine but the mid skid did not bc the trans crossmember sits an inch further back. Eddy is making me a custom one. Not sure about the 3rd gens...hope that is useful

There is a 2wd Tacoma off-roader/YouTuber. I'll ask him. ---> (Michael Tran - Blue 3rd Gen Tacoma TRD Sport DCLB)

If anyone finds a skid plate for a 3rd gen, SR5 2wd please put a link to it. Would love to get rid of the air deflector and add a front skid plate! Thanks!

For the very front skid plate (engine skid plate), you can use the 4wd ones! For the front, the layout for 2wd and 4wd are the same. It's the transmission skid where you'll have fitment issues.
