I love mine. Used it more than once for myself and others.

Beats positioning the vehicles just right and trusting the other guy doesnt set it up funny and fry your system.

They do pretty good sales on their website on black fridays and other days

The back of the garage, which is the center line, is blocked by floor shelving. That’s why I wanted to know if the hoist could be 90 degrees off center line, perpendicular. Parking in the garage is not possible but I can pull in half way (enough to have it lifted straight up and clear obstacles). I can raise it to the point the bottom of the cap will be 7’ 4” off the ground

20211003_191008.jpg 20211003_190102.jpg Here's a crude sketch and a pic of how I have my hoist set up in my garage. Different application but same thought. Swivel pulleys on eyes and a horizontal pull. Yours would drop vertically to a corner after that second pulley.

Totally possible. Getting everything exactly the right length will be tricky at first, but I did a very similar thing I’m my last garage.

Having the hoist in line with the system (back of garage) is blocked by floor shelving. I know I can keep the hoist in line and mounted directly to the ceiling but i really rather it be on the side wall by the door if it will work. It would keep things cleaner looking and out of the way/wired remote not just hanging in the center. I mean if it’s not possible to have it 90 degrees then I’ll have no choice but otherwise

joists and supports for the pulleys won’t be a problem, even if I need to add support for my specific location but I know currently I’ll have a mount bracket spanning 2 joists for each corner

Is this (Garnish) our only option?

Still have more to go, but the bulk of it is done!

Did decide to go ahead and throw a couple coats of Rustoleum Semi-gloss on the factory skids. The paint from factory kinda looks like crap.

Ok, great. Never done anything like this but have tried watching a few videos.

I’ll end up using 3 cable clamps on each corner of the platform to be able to adjust the length of cable for level lifting

so the 4 pulleys for the 4 corner lifting points will be swivel pulleys needed correct as well as a single swivel at the junction? I planned on the dual line method going back to the hoist for the double weight capacity. What would the name/style of pulley needed for the stationary dual pulley be called or best used to get that 90 degrees

Yes. Although I saw on Etsy a digital file for sale to 3D print an American flag that fits the garnish hole. Obviously I have no clue how it would work since I don't have a 3D printer.

It's a mall crawler basically, the undercarriage would get pressure washed pretty much every other wash. Its seen about 2/3 of a winter since I bought it the week before Christmas 2020. It was washed right after every snow storm though. I would pull the skids every couple of months to wash that area as well.
