    It seems Timbo is one of the few in the area who can be trusted with these kinds of jobs. I’ll have to make an appt in a few months when I receive my new suspension. Soo excited.. haha

    I’ve fallen into the same pattern with the FRS that I was in with the truck for a while. Fly out, order parts, fly home, install parts, lather, rinse, repeat. On the upside, parts are cheaper, so I’m able to get stuff done at a faster pace. Oddly enough, two of the last parts I need are the first two parts I ordered (headers and OFT tuner).
    Mods so far:
    Tein Coilovers
    Whiteline adjustable sway bars
    Cusco front and rear strut braces
    MXP catback
    VLAND tail lights (also have headlights, but they arrived missing parts)
    Greddy front lip w/knock-off STI side skirts, spats, and diffuser (primarily to cover the multitude of scuffs and curb checks committed by the PO)
    Avid 1 wheels w/ Michelin Pilot Sport 4AS 245/40R17 to replace the generic 5 stars and Ironman 215/45s

    Thanks. I call it a 30/30 car. Looks good from 30 feet away or passing at 30 mph. The paint is full of nicks and scratches. Good thing it’s a light color.

    So after what...6 years since I've had these fiberglass bedsides...I finally installed my gas filler neck assembly. However, the gas door still doesn't fit lol

    Since it's a 2016 I'd ask about the timing chain cover and see if that's been replaced. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the vast majority of timing chain cover leaks on the 3rd gen have been in the 2016-early 2017 models.

    I think my uncle is trying to drive me bat shit crazy...either than or give him a Gibbs Slap to the back of the head.

    I says to him -- since he didn't want to run the Eldebrock 4 Brrl that was previously on it -- get me a Holley 2 Brrl. Even looked it up and provided him a link to the cheapest place I could find it. He bought a cheap Chinese replica of the stock 2 Brrl AMC used. So I says to him, take the factory intake to the machine shop and have it cleaned up and the mating surfaces trued since that replica carb would bolt right on and I'd be done with it. He shows up with an adapter plate for the aluminum 4 brrl intake, which I then determined wouldn't work for various clearance and vacuum leak reasons. When informed of this, he took the carb and the adapter plate down to the speed shop to try to find something that would work and then comes back and say they told him to hack up the adapter plate to provide clearance and I'm going to have to fab a piece of aluminum to cover the ends of the carb mounting slots that are open right into the intake. So now I get to mill off parts of the adapter plate by hand and fabricate a plate to go between the carb and the adapter...none of which would be necessary if he would have used the stock :censored: intake.

    o_O:facepalm::frusty::annoyed::censored::censored::censored::bananadead:

    And we've just begun the battle over the wiring harnesses.
