Just started upgrading my sound system in 07 SR5. I've been using a really shitty FM dock plugged into my AC jack and the quality is horrendous with tons of static. I'm getting a new stereo within the next couple of days and was wondering where some of you put your iPod when its plugged into the USB. I'm pretty OCD on the image and I don't want some cable drapped across the front of my dash. Any ideas?

I ran mine under the center console. Then I cut a hole in the cup holder behind the shifter. I made a foam holder for the IPod. Don't have any pictures of it though.

Weather Tech floor mats, drop in k&n filter, TSB for leaf springs, 5100's set @ 1.75, front windows tinted, and N-Fab Nerf bars. More to come soon.
I suggest a new deck that controls your ipod. I had one in my 09 honda civic ex and it worked really well. plus the ipod cable ran off the back of the deck so my ipod was out of sight out of mind in the glove box. Good Luck!

My HU is hardwired for an iPod right out of the back of the unit. I ran the wire into the glove box. Works great and it's out of sight.

This. No sense in buying a HU that doesn't offer direct ipod control. Most do nowadays anyways. Mine is away in the glove box. My Kenwood has direct control/display for ipod, Zune, and any other USB storage device.
