Put in a new HU. Pioneer FH-P8000B. Looks and sounds super sweet, but it only comes in blue. Now I'm going to HAVE to change out the rest of my dash to match my sweet radio! In the Spring, I'll connect the radio to my custom installed bed speakers as the "rear" speakers. Right now I have a switch running off of the front speakers to turn them off and on. I'll post pics and a write up about the speakers when the weather gets better. What a miserable winter... wish I had a full sized garage so I could work on my Taco in warmth!

Just had the 5100's put on my truck and had them set at 1.75 and it looks great and no vibrations. I would post pic's but the wife has to teach me how to put them up on the page. Me and computers don't get along very well.

I'm becomming impressed with the pulling capabilities of these Tacomas. Last Sat, I pulled my step-daughter's Legacy out of a ditch about 4' deep. Just the other night, her best friend put her Honda wagon into a thicket/ditch backwards and I pulled her out of that uphill in 6-8" of snow. Both pulls were effortless. No burning clutch or spinning tires.

    I agree...AWESOME!

With all that damage, I would forget about buying skid plates until you put a lift on it so you don't get that much damage. If you are lifted, you need to go higher.

Yeah, definitely would a like an OME lift, locker, AND get either an ARB or Shrockworks front bumper and skids. If only money grew on trees!

Toytec ULK, LR UCA's, Dakars, and 285/70r17 Duratracs are all in! Alignment is done.

Truck goes down the road straight as an arrow, a little bit stiffer, but that's to be expected. Not unpleasant at all! No driveline vibration, but I do get a little "bounce" out of one of the tires. I doesn't happen at any specific speed, just here and there. My buddy said he did have a bit of trouble balancing one of the tires. The further I drive it, the less it seems to happen.

The front sits a little higher than the rear, but I'm not worried about that, the winch and ARB bumper will be here next week. I also need to let things settle.

    I am loving it!

I'll get some daylight pics for my build thread tomorrow. I'd like to bomb around my wife's pasture to see how the tires act off-road in deeper snow.

BTW, these tires are just plain awesome on snow covered roads. They work in slush, semi-snow-covered pavement, deep snow, shallow snow...they are just awesome!

That set up looks very good. What type of struts / springs are those? Believe me, the Winch and ARB bumper will drop it down. The bumper is about #200 LBS and the winch with cable will add about #90 + LBS. Only thing I do not like about my ARB is the fact the Winch is completely enclosed by the bumper. If you need to do anything to the winch, bumper will need to come back off.
Here are a few photos when I first got the ARB.

My ARB is 160lbs. The bumper alone is just over 100, and all the brackets and nuts and bolt weight 60

Do you have the cut outs for fog lights? I think the newer ARB's have the cut outs for fog lights and that may be part of why yours is lighter. ARB may have done that just to help lighten it up a bit. My OME front suspension sagged after a year or so and now I have spacers on top of my struts as well. Of course the new OME 886 springs are designed not to sag. (According to there website: "Scragging before and after shot peening to prevent sagging") This is for the new ones, not the ones I got 3 years ago!
