No drill access cab roof racks or crossbars. Anyone?

    Too my knowledge, all roof racks bolt into the factory roof rack threaded holes already in your roof. If I am wrong I will be flamed accordingly.

    Edit: I am incorrect and should be flamed accordingly. Access Cabs do require drilling.

    I couldn't find a no-drill roof rack that I liked for my access cab. Ended up getting one that requires drilling from Victory 4x4 (which is basically a Prinsu clone). It was a royal PITA to install, the provided tools and instructions were lacking, customer service wasn't very helpful. I also had to put some extra weather stripping between the front panel of the rack and the roof of the truck because there was too much clearance and it was flapping/vibrating against the roof at highway speeds. Since then I haven't had any issues with it but if I could go back in time I probably wouldn't do it again.

    Thanks for giving me a heads up. I’m definitely not into the idea of drilling into the roof. I’ll probably just get a Yakima setup with some crossbars and a wind deflector. Just might have to wait 8-12 weeks since Yakima is so severely backed up.

    I have a victory Rack. Ended up just drilling all the way through the roof (Dropping the headliner) and not even bother with the crush inserts that Victory supplied because I felt like it would be a lot stronger. Plus the crush inserts were a pain in the ass and I couldn't get them to install right.

    I sealed them up really well and never had a leak since.

    That is totally a valid way to install our roof rack. Anyone else struggling with nutserts, this tool makes it super easy. Kind of expensive if you are just doing a rack or whatever, but once you have it, it makes nutserts an easy tool for future mods.

    Yakima makes a clamp-on baseline system rack for the access cab. Without drilling, this clamp type system will be the only way.
