Where was this if you don’t mind me asking? I’m just getting back into things and I’m always looking for NoCo trails.

My idea of a gravel ride to take it easy while I recover from injuries. Pinhoti 2 in N. GA.

Not really a mountain bike trail as it is a fire / 4x4 road.. It’s called Storm Mountain which is west of Loveland. I drive up there on occasion looking for moose and bear. Used to years ago ride dirt bikes up there. Took that photo on Tuesday along with 20 or so others of the colors up there right now.

One of the things I like about my 1up racks is it's modularity. A couple of weeks go, I hung the trays up on a boulder unknowingly and when I pulled away, the 15 degree trays got stuck on the rock which bent the limiting ridge on the 15 degree plates. Within one week, I ordered and received the replacement plates and fixed the rack. You gotta love no plastic parts. I could've probably drilled and out in some allen bolts to act as a limiter on the old plates in retrospect so I'm keeping the old plates as back up.

Went on a backcountry tour on my gravel bike today, 62 miles and almost 4K elevation. Cabezon Peak was my destination - but had to reroute a bit due to a dry river bed flowing like a small stream! But, really enjoyed the views that I came across today. This is maybe 20 miles from my house as a crow flies and I’ve never seen this area. It was absolutely amazing, and being able to take this all in while on the bike was pretty cool!

Hooler at your boy if you're in East Tennessee. Tons of rain at the moment but we can ride some rainproof trails if you stop in

I'd make a shameless plug for north Alabama but my rear rim is getting replaced and I probably will not have it back in time. @jjones.yota would gladly show you around. I can probably get my hands on a spare bike if I tried hard.

Here's an outsiders view on 2 local to me places. Read last post for review.
The guy asked which to ride Oak Mtn or Coldwater, and I couldn't answer him.
However he decided just to ride both.

    MTBR -

Good review. I'd like to sample some Oak Mtn eventually. I'm kneedropper over on MTBR

Sweet, yeah I followed you, whatever that means.
Maybe now that I've got a fulltime dog sitter lol, I can make more time to ride. Of course, once all moving her in the house and such is sorted.

I’m no longer curious. I’m fully out of the closet as a hardtail lover.

Finished 11th Pro Class this weekend on a hardtail in an enduro race. What could've been on an appropriate bike...

Dang Alex you should have told me you were racing the quick six! Would have tried to come out to heckle...I mean support haha.

Good showing on a HT. Certainly would have been a different result on a full, but you being full send regardless is what counts.
