    So I sold the 105 shares of ASO I bought 10/1 on the dip, sold today while it was peaking green for a $96.60 profit. It’s back down in the red now. I sold due to concerns over the shipping fiasco on retail businesses.
    Questions for you guys who trade a lot - now I have to wait a couple days for the trade to clear before I can buy anything. Is there any way of getting around that delay?
    I don’t want to do options, just stock buys and sells.

    You can BUY anything you want with that cash immediately...you just can't SELL what you buy until Wednesday...If you wait until Wednesday to buy you can buy and sell right away...and then you reset that 3 day..


    Oh and heads up all,
    MONDAY Is a bank holiday so OPTIONS trade cash will not clear until close of trading TUESDAY for contracts sold on monday.

    That’s what I thought but it shows me the money I have available for trading but my sold stock (it closed) is not showing up. I have only $85 available for trading per my TDA ap lol. My cash balance shows thousands.
    Update: In researching further, at TDA with a cash account like I have, when selling I have to wait 2 days for the trade to clear before the funds are available for me to trade. Bummer but I can live with that.
