I purchased a set of stage 2’s. Haven’t installed yet. Anyone have a YouTube link or in-depth install instructions?

 

Same as stage one. It’s a plug and play harness. Only thing is to drill out the reverse hole to make the adapter fit. Or cut it, electric razor or hot blade. I used a step bit and vacuumed out the shavings. If you do drill, hold the light upside down to help a little bit. Also, steer away from fast drying epoxy. It drys really fast. Epoxy is used to attach the adapter. I haven’t seen any step by step videos but Meso has one on his website on the Stage 2 videos instructions.
It’s really not that difficult or time consuming.

 

I ordered the Stage 2 on Thursday and installed them last night. My hot knife skills are apparently not so good, but the install went relatively smooth and everything works great.

So stage two is just hella bright vs stage one? All functionality is the same across both stages?

Yep! Functions the same but s2 are retina damaging bright while s1 are retina burning bright.

 

Does anyone have a side by side (pic or vid) comparison of the reverse and signals of S1 and S2?

 

Will these work for the 2020's with LED Headlights? I not sure if the LED headlight option changes the taillights any?

I don’t think the tail lights between 2019 and 2020 have changed. So, both stage 1 and 2 should work.
...I have S1 kit converted to S2 in my 2019...

 

Anyone install this MESO kit in a 2020-2021Tacoma that has LED headlights? Any probs? Are resistors necessary?

 

I have them in mine. I went and got the resistors from the get go so I didn’t have to tear things apart.

 

What all is involved in installing the resistors, in addt'n to the tail light kit itself?

Yeah. Just plug it in, in additional to the key. I didn’t want the hassle of having everything torn apart to have to put everything back together and again…and it was only like 20 bucks
