Anybody else play Chex Quest? It was a re-skin of Doom that shipped in boxes of Chex cereal.

It was actually a solid game. Got a few sequels and remakes over the years.

 

Doesn't look bad.

So my sister and BIL get this dog today. Totally out of the blue. They spring the news on me and my parents by asking if either of us are available to pet sit this coming weekend while they go away.



They didnt think for a minute that maybe pets arent a good idea for people who are gone for what seems like 1-2 weekends a month.

Those boarding bills are gonna add up. I sure as hell aint wasting my days off watching their dog sleep.

 

What's the ideal battery voltage while running? 14v +/- .5?

My brand new battery runs at about 13.3/13.4v while running. Put my scangauge on my wife's Rav and hers runs at 14.7v (engine on)
My truck seems a little low and her Rav seems a little high

That sounds a little low to me. Might be worth getting the alternator tested.

Yeah I think I will. The old battery I just replaced kept high 13s while running. Weird.

 

I wouldnt think too far into it. The Rav4 is newer, more electronics, more load. More amps means more volts.

 

Just take her alternator, she won't notice

 

Slowly getting them out with the hacksaw. It requires two cuts across from each other or right next to each other. Some people had luck with one cut but not me. I regret scrapping the 2 sets of OEM lowers I had. But when you’re moving sometimes you don’t have a choice.

 

I'll just swap drivetrains with her, she'll never notice

 

Make her pay for the supercharger rebuild, then swap it back.
