Called my local Toyota dealer to ask if there was a recall on the third break light for my ‘18 Tacoma. I’d read about it on this thread. After some hemming and stalling they checked and indeed there was. Seems like they should have notified me. I scheduled an appointment. Thanks to whomever posted it.

$7, just a regular envelope with a stamp to keep price low.

I hear the arguments about cai, but with a drop in TRD or K&N, and a less congested air travel path, this should give you better gas mileage if you don’t drive like you think your truck is fast. I’ve done this in my Camry and increased my mpg by 6 mpg. That’s 2 free gallons of gas per tank. Probably won’t see those dramatic increases in the Tacoma, but should see some gains and it looks cool and will probably make some extra noise if you get on it.. which is fun. Currently searching for the black one for the 2.7. Thank you for finding this tube.

I had heard about the potential for that last year when I installed mine. So I bent that spot and it's been fine ever since.

That’s awesome! Planning on hitting that place around the 12th or 13th. Never been there, always heard good things. Do they allow beach camping?

I had the same issue. I replaced the crazy expensive fuze that blew, put some liquid tape on the wires than cut a piece of tubing down the middle and zip-tied to the tray.
