Any experiences out there? Do they work well? Last? Like the look better than the square LED styles, but wondering about longevity etc.

I just bought some SS3 Pros for my Tacoma.
I went pros to melt snow ice I love these things. Worth every penny. I’ll link a thread here. But I would say the consensus is the Diode Dynamics Fogs are the best on the market.
I also bought from Hotshot off-road and amazing customer service.

I started with the morimotos and then went to KC G4’s which I liked better, and now I have the SS3 sports which are better than the KC’s

Have had them installed for 3.5 years, very pleased & zero problems. Got them at a good price via group buy here at TW.

Thanks for the input. I have looked at that thread and several others... this is honestly more about aesthetics than than light output. I have the mother of all light bars, but I like the idea of a yellow light for the fogs-I really don't drive in bad weather that often, the little princess sits in the garage most of the winter. The square look in the round hole is not appealing and I get it that it is the way they have to build them but I just recoil at the look. Willing to have a light that is better than factory, but not square is the hope. I am most concerned with quality of build and will they last... can't stand things that just quit.

Still have mine on for 6-7 years. I personally love’em, even bought a spare set for when my current set is ready to go

While not yet on the market if you are dead set on having an "OEM-Looking" housing Diode Dynamics recently announced their ELITE series of fogs. There's no formal specs out yet, but I can assure you that they'll far outperform the Morimoto XBs that have been on the market for quite a few years. Supposed to be out "this fall" so they shouldn't be too far away. Won't outperform something like the SS3, but will certainly be a step up from anything else out there in that form factor.

I hope those are for 05-11 trucks. Nothing worse, IMO, than the square foglights in a round hole, just looks way wrong.

Well the photo I linked there definitely isn't for the 05-11s, but I haven't seen their full application suite yet either. That photos was just a teaser from them.

I have the them, but I bought them second hand. I'd say they're worth the money.

But I have a set of blazer projectors that I need to buy bulbs and ballasts for. And when I do, I'm switching back

Fun fact on the Morimoto XB fogs, they are lower in output than 12-15 stock OEM halogen fogs. So if you have a late 2nd Gen, then you are paying to downgrade.
