Does the compressor completely stop at the desired PSI or does it begin to constantly stop and start indicating that you’re at your desired psi?

Start/stop at desired PSI. I have thought about buying a better regulator to see if it fully shuts off but it's good enough for now.

I'm pretty sure the compressor had a bleed valve somewhere and will pulse on/off indefinitely. Or I just didn't tighten my fittings snugly enough.

If I turn on the compressor without hooking up a tire it will run for a second or 2 then shut off

Mine does that too, then after 30 seconds or so it'll run for 1 more second then shut off. Repeat till power is cut.

I mounted my ARB twin in the drivers side bed on my 20 OR. For those who are saying you don't have a cubby, you can make one by cutting a hole and putting a cover on it (although quite a shame Mobtown is gone). I have the air port and power switch mounted on the outside for convenience as well. It works great but its already a pain in the ass to air up, can't imagine using a small compressor like some do. The times I've gone wheeling, half the group doesn't bother to air down so they end up waiting on you, which can seem like an eternity.

Only downside to the bedside mount is the amount of dust/dirt that gets in. I didn't put in the dust cover, and yes it gets absolutely filthy. I don't have the appetite to pull everything out again though. I just go in and blow it out with compressed air every now and again.

    Here's a pic when everything was nice/new/clean

Any details on the dust cover option? Is that something we can buy somewhere? I have all my parts and just waiting on time to install.

I got this installed under my hood last week and am stoked! I bounced it around on Chimney Rock in Tucson Sunday and aired up WAY faster that my old trusty portable. I went with the MORE Mount under hood location, because this warlock fits perfectly in the engine dead space. Cheers!!
