None of these CEOs, regulators, hedge funds want any of these companies to squeeze. Things are so fucked that if one of them truly goes hard it's gonna spiral out of control and take out everything else as collateral damage.

They all know what's at stake.

AMC is a classic example, and I feel especially bad for those sticky floor bagholders. CEO Adam has an army of loyal customers now, he makes massive bonuses, and all he had to do was capitulate to the hedge funds with share issuance (one of which was directly to a hedge fund lmao). He was bought and paid for and the funds released the pressure off of AMC slowly over the months. It's not a threat to anything anymore.
