Would you be able to put a small bead of rtv on the mating surface so you don’t have to rely on that obviously sub par gasket or is moisture getting in somewhere else as well?

4x4 not engaging? Did you confirm whether the issue is at the add or the tcase?

 

yea if your experience is anything like mine and many others, your front add actuator probably got water in it and corroded/rusted.

there are 4 Phillips screws on it that hold the cover on, if you pull it off you can see what’s going on. There’s also a chance the terminals need to be soldered.

 

i give him a working one about 5 years ago, not sure if it’s been swapped in or not.
