What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

My only gripe was that trashy teenager and his pristine show quality classic Bronco.

 

Episode 4 or 5 I think yeah no kidding. No job maybe a kid....18 or so....mods expensive...hmmmm....

 

Watching "Queenpin"
I would say it's definitely worth the watch.
Crime/comedy.

The wife and I watched the John Carpenter classic ‘They Live’ last night. I realized at the end that Roddy Pipers character has no name in the entire movie. He is referred to as ‘you’ and that’s it.
IMDB has his character name listed as ‘Nada’…

 

Great movie.

 

Started The Chestnut Man. Only two episodes in but so far so good.

GLADIATOR! Love that movie. Joaquin Phoenix was incredible in it. Im a Russell Crowe fan but Joaquin owned this movie.

 

Damn it. Another season of blacklisted on Netflix.

I’m so pot committed to this rapidly declining show I know I’m going to watch it. But I won’t like it.

Season 3 of the Lost In Space reboot drops 12/1/21. Plenty of time to rewatch the earlier seasons if your memory needs it like me .

I was bored and started clicking around in HBOMax. They, unknown to me, have rights/own a bunch of other studio productions. Anyway, total surprise they have the entire Studio Ghibli line-up

“Foundation” on Apple TV+

CG is very good. Suggest watching it on a large format 4K tv (not an iPad). The Foundation started a bit slow but its telling the thousand year story of the fall and rise of the galactic empire. Its been awhile since I read the books so I don’t have a great issue with them varying with the books. I’m easy in that regard, (I forgive the powers that be for making Captain Marvel a woman). At this point I grade “Foundation” a B. 4 episodes have been released, I will continue to watch.

Anybody run into this?

Roku - when trying to set it up, you get to the point were you enter your email and Roku is supposed to send you an activation email.

However a notice pops up that says “We can’t seem to reach you by email.”

Googling doesn’t help (factory reset, check spam folder…)

If you’ve gotten past this, please help!

Edit:
The fix:
My situation was based on my wifi settings.
For the Roku- set up your phone or other internet access device as a hotspot and connect, this will get you the activation email.

For the router- if your running a Netgear, it might not be picking up the lates firmware. Enter the model number and “firmware” into a browser to double check. Update firmware if needed.
Set 2.4 Ghz to channel 6
Set 5 Ghz to channel 48

Give your system 20-30 minutes to adjust.

I hope this helps prevent anyone else from this maddening situation.

Edit 2: Roku sucks w Netgear Nighthawk- gonna try a Fire Stick.
