I think it started making noises after I rebolted it so I may just cut it off this weekend. :sawzall:

Hey, "Toss the Wife Too" is losing by 1 vote

I'd like to blame myself for the sway bar situation if anyone needed a reason to vote on the poll ;)

Seriously though, I have a paralyzed stomach, which means mad fucking motion sickness. If I want to survive a road trip I usually have to drive, and even then, the Taco still makes me pretty ill after a while. That's why we kinda wanted to test the waters.

with firmer 650lb coils and a wider stance, it's not too bad. I've never worried about it for evasive driving, but there is certainly a bit more body roll on windy roads. I find it's definitely much worse with weight up high, like an RTT or whatever. one of the many reasons I've been on a mission to lower my COG

I'm not in the RTT scene, I ground tent and when we graduate from that it'll probably be a small trailer. I've never wheeled anywhere I'd need to drag the trailer through with me so it can be base camp while I wheel.

Sweet yeah we mostly camp in the fall/winter/spring because we are too busy in the summer. Ground tenting in mud and snow sucks! Plus our business is called Overland Outfitters... Gotta look the part

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
A cot tent is a decent compromise. Gets you off the ground and with a good pad/bag, will be usable for 3 seasons. Other advantage is setting up next to the truck as a windbreak without needing a lot of space. It's not the most space efficient when folded (large/flat/awkward) but it should be able to play truck Tetris without issue.

    https://kamprite.com/tent-cots/

edit: https://kamprite.com/shop/tents/collapsible-series/compact-tent-cot-standard/ for a better space saving design but doesn't convert to a chair or lounge like the tri fold.

I'm think more along the lines of an 8x12 cargo trailer converted to a camper on my old OEM suspension components and 17 rims that I can interchange as needed. Basically, have a spare on the truck, and a spare on the trailer and could swap either way if needed. Heat and A/C is what the wife wants if we get fancy on camping.

He got a super sudden short lived fever Sunday night, so he went to get his Covid test and just took the rest of the day off. He's fine. We never got results though.

I was told I had to take off. I had to be 24 hours symptom free.
    Results came in today. Negative.
