A little something every chance we get.
No like, but even tho plans changed, you should get a second test. And the boosters.

It’s not if you get it, it’s when.
The vaccine won’t stop you from getting it we have found out however, it
    Greatly reduces the effects.
I hope you stay as well as poss and get through it..

I just got a call from my MD saying that I qualified for the antibody treatment. Probably scheduled for tomorrow and insurance will pay due to history of Afib.

    Ok I’m dumb.
    Qualify for Antibody treatment?
Why wouldn’t you want everyone to get the treatment?

Well you have to test positive to begin with. Also they have rules. People with lung or heart issues. Perhaps liver and kidney as well (they asked).

I just got back from the treatment. They got me in right away. No big deal except the room was cold (not fun when you are having chills), the nurse hit a nerve (not really a big deal), and after I'd left I had some severe retching and thought I was going to toss my cookies. It took about twenty minutes to recieve treatment and a half hour waiting for a reaction. They said tomorrow may be worse but after that I should see quick improvement.

Good morning Mark!! Have fun with your honey harvest today.

When I was growing up on our family's farm, it always seemed to me that my father and uncle picked the very hottest and most humid days in mid-August to change out the hive supers and then do the extraction in the evening - I think that we had something like 120+ hives scattered about the farm. Having a bee inside your headnet while carrying supers from the hive to the truck is one of those memories that I try to forget...

I feel better this morning. Still stuffy but better than yesterday. I didn't expect quick results so that's a bonus.

    Pics or it didn't happen!

    Yay!

:pumpkin: Good Morning Porch Pals! Same old today, more details so I can wrap up this project, and get the Yellow Submarine IV up in the air.

Replacement station came late Monday, and went to the back yard paint shop yesterday. I'll have to do the "hard reset" today, because the system hates to recognize a new comer (I remember I did this last time). Take all the batts out of everything, replace them, and when it starts, slowly drip 38.99" of YTD rain in it before I put it up. Oh, I put RTV around the edge of the remote battery compartment this time.

Greenhouse goes slowly, because all the last details are "custom made". I made a West wall window out of a spare roof panel, mostly to keep the rain from blowing on the electric (which is mostly waterproof anyway), and to block that West sun. Roof material is opaque. I will be replacing the South wall with 4 of those panels to try and help cut down solar heat gain. And I got the bubble wrap sun block/insulation in the West gable.

On the East front wall, I cut a spare wall piece and put it up above the door, then added flat aluminum to frame it in and support it.

With the sun shade back it place, it's a little cooler; but I have eliminated the big box fan, so I gained some. Screen today (I hope), and strip the remaining things I won't use off the ceiling. Then, I'm done until the winter foam board insulation. NOT going to lose half my plants this year.

Evening y'all! Sure got a lot of rain today!

Hard reset means erasing all the YTD data and dripping water for about an hour! But if you give it thought, poor thing is trying to keep up with 40" per hour!

Yellow Submarine IV (and Flying Glove) is on the air!

Greenhouse roof cleaned inside, screen will have to wait. Found out my South panels will be shipping tomorrow.

So the wife & I just got home from getting our third poke. I'm on my third beer when I realized that. I'll let you know if there are any ill effects.

Just noticed my arm is a little sore...

Sorry, no pictures on the honey extraction. Way too messy to have my phone anywhere near me during that process. Your hands get covered as you shave off the wax the bees put over the comb to seal in the honey and then transfer the frames into the extractor. We filled two 5 gallon buckets and a smaller container. Still have to drain the wax to get that honey leftover. We'll probably strain it one more time before we bottle it.

I got my CMP 1911A1 yesterday and love it! It is a complete Frankenstein of early and post-war parts - just what I carried in the late 70s and early 80s before the Army moved to the Beretta M9...which I hated. This thing has a Remington Rand frame, a Colt replacement slide and a post WWII barrel. Strangely, the mainspring housing dates to no later than '43. I'll take it out today and run a few rounds through it.
