Not a bad solution. I used some tin snips to remove that part and then a bolt with two washers to close up the gap. No way I wanted to risk wearing through that harness.

I have what's called the "red and black 80watt" it's an off brand Chinese laser. It has a 20x28 inch work area which fits my needs for now. I started with a 3d printer and vinyl cutter and got hooked on making things. Now I have the laser along with a small CNC and might upgrade more in the near future.

Just got this delivered today. Dropping off at the body shop tomorrow after a nasty deer strike last week. :itllbuffout:

Nice! I got one delivered on Saturday the other is lost in Fedex land somewhere.

Are they supposed to hang that low? I'd be afraid of tearing one off turning into a parking lot.

Yes, they are side steps, not useless running boards. Naturally not good for off roading, but my travels are limited to forest service roads and my 500' long dirt driveway, LOL.

Been a while since I've done anything to my Tacoma. Got a few things waiting for me to have time but tonight I did this. Changed to The AJT design fob/key.

I've wanted to do this since I got clumsy and dropped my keys and ran over it with my cart at work scratching one side all up. Getting the transponder out was tricky but with a new blade and the diagonal cutters, some time and care I got it.

    I think I like

Why are running boards useless? I find mine useful everytime I step on them & they don't hang down halfway to China!

    A bunch of junk
After killing myself installing the cascadia solar panel, it was awesome to reach into my iceco fridge to enjoy a beer. I fucking love this truck. God bless the aftermarket options vendors that sell me the shit I don't need but want! 20211005_184032.jpg 20211005_190810.jpg

These are great. Compact and easy to use. I have several different brands put 1 in each vehicle. Have used it once with no problems.
