The guy's mom bought it new, so I highly doubt he's selling it...

It's an oddly optioned truck; It has an automatic transmission, but the A/C was installed at the dealer...

Found one eerily similar to that 3rd Gen I found in Jersey; The key differences are that this one has off-road lights, is registered in Delaware, and doesn't have a dent in the left rear door...

2015 T4R with Tundra Rock Warrior wheels (Looks pretty good); Don't what trim level it is...

It has a sunroof, and the Carfax labels it as both an SR5 and a Trail, so I'm guessing it's an SR5 Premium...?

Given that it’s not running the original wheels it’s hard to tell, but I believe the Trail has no side badging while the SR5 does. Of course, it could also be a debadged SR5. All the other major differences between the Trail and SR5 that I can think of aren’t visible in that photo. Either premium version can have a moonroof.

I swear I've seen T4R Trail Editions with the "TRAIL" emblem on the C-pillar...?

For anyone wanting future reference 5th Gen 4runners 2014-2016 were trail or trail premium with silver bumper valances and a hood scoop. In 2016 they switched the name over to trd off road and off road premium to align with the Tacoma and Tundra. These models saw the introduction of trd off road badges on the C pillar. The 2014-2016 trail edition did not have any C pillar badging. In Canada we only get the premium model, not the base trail/trd off road.

a quick way to tell this is the premium (USA model) is the blinker lights in the side view mirrors. The non premium models didn’t get these in the USA.

2021 Toyota introduced the trail special edition which is not the same as the trail edition was 2016 and down.

Both the valence and the scoop are obviously visible in the Trail photo from the link I posted, boy did I ever bugger that away!

I owned a 2016 trail here in Canada from 2016-2020, got familiar with them. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned, biggest complaint was 4.0L with 5 speed. Can’t wait for the 2023 redesign.

I see ads on Kijiji with knockoff trd wheels all the time. Guessing this is the case but not certain
