I don’t know if he bumped his head or what but that whole situation is so bizarre and hard to comprehend.

 

The niners suck right now. JG can’t change that and Lance isn’t ready but tough shit, in you go anyway. He’s good enough to win with a good team but not enough to do it solo. No running game, receivers not getting separation, no deep threat, no corners(especially this in a division loaded with premier QB’s). Even great QB’s lose on bad teams and lose when a good team has a bad day or the other guys have a better one. NFC west is just a bad place to be bleed in the water these days.

 

I mean the Niners have the #1 receiver right now...

But yes their RB play is very bad. Their defense isn't helping either. The Niners had such a stacked team 2 years ago and Jimmy G failed in the big game.

The NFC West is a tough division and every game matters. I'm hoping the Cards keep it up but the Rams are looking good right now. Who knows is the Hawks can get rolling or not. They are a scary team when they start rolling.

 

i was at Sunday’s game. The 1st quarter, defense played great. Felt fine after halftime but it blew up in the 2nd half. Offense could be scoring 28 points a game and they’d still lose. Those seats are starting to get hot

 

I think it’s silly to blame the SB loss on Garrapollo but that’s what happens. People tend to look for a simple reason or one single person to heap the blame on. Many players including him played well that game. A half dozen other QB’s would have absolutely benefited from a pf call and the game would have been over. That didn’t happen and KC made the plays to win it. Against the defense. Might as well blame the stripes or the O-line or the defense but it’s just easier to blame Garrapollo after having his bell rung. There are most certainly better quarterbacks but he isn’t the problem since he’s already proven he’s much better than anyone we’ve had for many years.

First, we need a RB that would start on 90% of the teams to be healthy. We are currently sitting at 3rd string, and Juice.

 

Man, they have a problem winning at home. They just aren't playing four quarters of football on either end of the ball. You cant sit on a lead and coast in this league. I'm just not sold on JG anymore. Trey went in and scored two TD's. He's green but I think the offense perked up a bit with him in there. JG usually looks good on the first drive of a game, then goes mediocre for the rest of it.
