Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

Definitely not.

The long travel kit includes uppers and lowers.

 

You cant mix match with LT, you have to have extended everything

 

For 4x trucks the options are either the 934 upgrade or do any +2 axels fit?
Also anyone running oe bushings in the upper or mostly uniballs? Wondering about lifespan on them and also noise

I guess the lowers are already use uniballs. Just wondering if upper uniballs are worth the upgrade

 

I have rubber bushings in mine. I haven’t seen it as an option on the website for a while so they may not be available. They’re silent, but I wonder about the twist and resistance from having a larger range of motion. I unbolted my spindle with it drooped out and was surprised how “wound up” it was from wanting to return to ride height. Time will tell. I think the OEM rubber will last forever in factory range of motion.

 

any +2s will fit -- I'm running CVJs with no issues. Currently using uniballs on both, so no comment on the other question.

 

Thats interesting and makes sense. Yea its not in the drop down menu and its with older prices so maybe not an option anymore. Just trying to understand a few things so thanks

Click in size box, options will appear then click on item and price will be posted. This is for the stock length. Don't know if the option for bushings was ever an option for LT.

 

There was an option for rubber bushings in the upper for the +2.25 kit. It hasn’t been in the scroll down list for a while though. You can still see it listed in the options under it though. I guess either out of stock or not offered any longer.

 

Anyone running RCV's axles? Installed them on my WK HEMI back in like 2014 shortly before I sold it. Expensive at $2k+

@snowsk8air2 is. I dug into this heavily a while back. And in my opinion, if you're going with the JD LT kit I would just run their 934 setup. I read a few threads where guys were finding the bar was binding on the outer birf when drooped out.

 

Is this for both the +2 and +4?

 

I am and haven’t had issues as of yet other than a recently torn boot. Been on the truck almost 2 years. 15” of travel and no binding.

The bind issue was on the 2" kits.

 

Torn boots seemed to be the most common thing I read about, and ran into with them

 

And it’s going to happen no matter what cv you’re running.

 

I’m sure I saw it on here, but I can’t remember where or what vehicle it was made for. There was a CV boot made in a spiral shape so the fins never contacted each other. Seemed like a great design.

 

I wonder how difficult that is to manufacture...

I did see the instructions on the website but has anyone done a write up or have pictures of their pivot kit install? Im 99% sure i can tackle this and lucky enough to have a brother who welds for a living and is happy to help with that part. Just dont want to cut too much of anything. The more information the better just to see the whole process. And I'm definitely a visual person
