I’m glad I found this thread!! I love hot sauce. I really like Habanero hot sauces, but like Carolina Reaper and Ghost Pepper hot sauces too.

Mary Sharp’s has excellent habanero sauces with great flavor and varying heat.

Torchbearers sauces are my go to brand right now. Their Zombie Apocalypse and Garlic Reaper are great.

I’ve only had their Habanero sauce but it has to be in my top 5 sauces. It’s chunky like a salsa and delicious. Very few ingredients and tastes so fresh. I need to try their other flavors. I just wish you got more sauce for the money because they are pricy.

Bought these. They're pretty good. Bit watery but bold. The heat really sneaks up on you. Found Truf at the grocery store. That stuff is very interesting. Almost makes me wonder what it would be like without the truffle?

So...a bit of an update on these sauces... TERRIBLE. I've managed to almost finish of the Pineapple Habenero, but the others aren't good at all. I almost wonder of I got a bad batch, because I cant even stomach the Jalapeno one.. It's near vomit inducing. Not hot, just gross.

New to me. It's called a Mad Hatter pepper and supposed to be really hot. Wife is leaving to visit her mom in 2 weeks and I was hoping to do all my hot sauces then. Wife can't take the napalm smell of hot sauce. Had some critter eating peppers too so the yields not going to be so heavy. I know, animals don't like hot peppers but something has been nibbling.

Sounds weird, but grow mint around your peppers. We had a problem with bugs eating ours. So one day I put mint around it and it helped. It eventually rooted and grew around the pepper plants and no issues since.

I’ve been making my way through the Heatonist sauces. They are good but none are my favorite.

A few years ago we took a tour of the Sriracha factory, highly recommended. If you love the strong smell of garlic and peppers, this place is for you.

After the tour, we got to sample some Sriracha ice cream -- sounds terrible, but was awesome.

First hot sauce of the season. Serrano, garlic. shallot, cilantro, sugar, steeped in vinegar. I'd call it a medium.

I lived in Hawaii for a few years a while back and a friend of mine turned me on to Adoboloco sauces. The first one that I tried was Hamajang, based on smoked ghost pepper. It's pretty hot but tasted amazing. I've tried everything that they make and just had some Fiya! Fiya! on my breakfast burrito today, but my absolute favorite is their Hawaiian chili pepper water:

If you haven't tried this sauce then go order some now. Just hot enough without being overpowering and the flavor is incredible.

Made the Mad Hatter hot sauce and got to admit I'm pretty depressed by it. It looks, smells and tastes good but has absolutely no heat?! Maybe I'll get some capsaicin extract to give it some kick?
