Chrome side view mirror swap

I have a 2021 cement gray limited tacoma and am in the process of de-chroming it. From speaking with two different parts departments at nearby Toyota dealerships, they don't make side view mirror covers in anything other than chrome for the limited.

My question is: Would an SR5 mirror cover work on the limited and/or what would be the best way to replace the cover?

Yes. As long they both have turns in the mirrors

 

The covers are the same as long as it has the turn signals. Why do people spend the extra $$$ on a Limited just to spend more money de-chroming it?

A few reasons, didn't have time to wait for others to come in stock, liked leather seats, moon roof and some other features. Probably could have made a smarter decision but happy with it other than a few cosmetic things.
