SCS and those are probably made in the same factory…same flow form processing.

Hopefully your trolling isn't an indication of how dull you are in real life although I suspect that is the case. At least TRY to be clever about it.

Except FN wasn’t FF back then, after having to skip over FN and deal directly with Konig, I decided I didn’t want to run/promote FN and sold the new set they sent me or the updated FF version to a local friend for cheap and bought SCS instead. Plus, I enjoy the aesthetics of SCS F5 more than the Six Shooter.

You didn’t seem like you fully understood after quoting me and trying to equate my original set with FF of SCS. Anyway, just chiming in for those who wanted to know more. Toodles.

alright I got a noob question for the group.

i'm going to be looking at getting the TE37XT but the only caveat is, for a period of time, i'm going to be running 265's until i can do the CMC and lift later on the truck.

I have done and will do some light off-roading (4-5 times a year and no rock crawling or anything super aggressive) where i'll run the tires at around 20PSI but typically not anything lower than that. Are there any issues with the tires coming off the beads or anything if i went with the 17x8.5 (-10)? If so, then would you just recommend me get the 16x8 and then when ready to do the other stuff, just put the 285 on the 16x8?

When airing down there is always the possibility of throwing a bead, but at 20psi it is unlikely.

Buy wheels and set them aside till you can do everything else. 20psi is fairly common, I had my 285/75r16 down to 16psi over the weekend and no issues in some pretty rough stuff.

Only three sets of the original batch of red + black TE37X decals remaining, so I'm considering the possibility of opening it up to three (maybe four) other color combos.
Red + black is staying, as it looks good on everything.
Black + white looks good, but I'm not sure what wheels it might work in combo with.
For the King blue -- I need a consensus on either the black or white text.
The white + black would look really clean with white trucks on black TE37.
The grey and the neon yellow... kinda on the fence.

Thoughts? If there's enough interest, then I'll open up a pre-order or something.

i don't have my wheels yet, but they will be black. i'm on a white truck all dechromed, so i'm thinking either black with white or white with black, but probably black with white text.

I’ve got the exact same wheels and have run the tire pressure down to 16-18lbs with no problem. You should be fine.

Just an update for those interested in running 265/75/16 true 32” tires with 16x8 -20 offset Volks. Truck is 2017 TRD Pro.

Tires are 265/75/16 Yokohama Geolandar X-AT.

The tires would rub the rear fender liner full clock.

Installed an eibach 1” lift kit on the TRD Pro to utilize the OEM fox 2.5 shocks. Now the tires clear the liner. No heat gun. No trimming. Zero rub.

Before and after pics of tire clearance, lift height, and spring comparison below.
