Not really sure. I just stick to the bike lanes / slow lanes as much as possible and avoid riding it like an idiot. Cops haven’t really harassed me on it yet. If going the registration route, I’m guessing this would get an M2 endorsement and I’d need to get the minimum insurance coverage. Alternatively, I was thinking of adding this Kaniwaba pedal kit for it. Still new to this scene, so I’m still learning and need to do more research.

I’m an older middle aged man who just picked up snowboarding, mountain biking, shooting, overlanding/off roading hobbies around 2016-2018. Not a young buck with a forgiving body that can get injured one weekend and be back out for more life threatening adventures the next weekend. I don’t do wheelies, jumps, manuals or try to ride like a hooligan. Lol Maybe, one day, I can do jumps and fly… The SurRon sure is torquie, though, and I’ve accidentally gotten the front wheel to lift from acceleration at a red to green light during my commute to work. I’ve never ridden dirt bikes, atv’s, utv’s or motorcycles, so I’m learning how to be more sensitive with the throttle. If anything, this ebike is getting me interested again in getting a motorcycle. Been eyeing the Yamaha MT line up, particularly the 2021 MT-07. It kinda matches the colors of the Orbea Occam that I ride …ever so often.

If only we had something with zero direct emissions, existing infrastructure, and no required licenses/insurance...

But wait...something like that would require people to exert effort. Dang, I almost thought I had something

They appeared to have self shuttled as they were not on either of the two shuttles we road up with.

I will also use this to endorse "Whole Enchilada Shuttle Company" for all your Moab Shuttling needs. I've been using them for a few years now and have always have a good experience. Mears (owner) is also stupid fast. https://wholeenchiladashuttles.com/

Wilder Wild LLC hooked me up with a piece of their frame protection for my Tailgate. Turns out the owners are Toyota Tacoma people and we thought it was a rad idea to try out! Their frame protection film is so rad and I am super happy with it on my Yeti SB115

I am on 9 days in a row of riding singletrack but the rain is coming tomorrow! Hoping it is not as bad as they say!!

I've been trying to figure out something like that! I wanted to basically put frame protection on teh bottom side of my tailgate and wrap it around the bottom so that the tailgate pad straps don't eat way at the clear coat and paint.....

Yes... *sigh* I know. It all stems from wanting to replace the shock on the Levo and the Float X2's only come kashima so now I need a matching fork and im a sucker. I can try to justify it but its really not needed, the 36 is fine.

I am more excited to build up a hardtail again.

Where are y’all buying inexpensive riding jerseys? I’m looking for a short sleeve MTB jersey but don’t want to spend $50+ for one. Anyone got some old gear laying around they may want to part ways with? I wear a large.

A lot of times I just wear some kind of wicking shirt. I try to pick stuff up on sale, and can usually find them for $25 or less. I have a bunch from different brands - North Face, Nike, Under Armor, etc.
