For you guys running 270 awnings what’s the weight on them? Did you guys use 3 awning brackets? Reason I ask is I plan to mount a 4Gal Roadshower using the awning brackets. It weighs 53lbs when full per their site. I’m debating on using 2 or 3 brackets.

So I’ve skipped around and skimmed about 70 precent of this thread. Can anyone sum up the SP X1 in its current state?

I know early on people complained about the latches, fitment or how it seals at the tailgate, plus a few other things. Is the product pretty well sorted out or does it still need refinement?

Also, what’s the solution for bugs when you leave the hatch or windoors open? I’m really digging the Alu Cab version but IMHO it’s a little to big and heavy, plus I’m a sucker for how SP builds their product…oh, and its made in America! What’s not to like!

My 270 awning weighs 53lbs and I went with 3 awning brackets. The awning is 83 inches long.

I’m running a 23Zero 270 awning and after discussing awnings with Spencer we ended up going with 3 SP awning brackets.

Finally installed all the cameras to this 3 camera rear view mirror system. I have a view of the camper interior (to watch my dogs), baby, and rear view. As suggested on here I ended up fully removing the oem mirror and it’s much cleaner! I have a separate dash cam for the front view.

    Synergy,

You could also look at their new floor panels while you're there. My wife picked up a set yesterday and so far it appears that they are going to be a good addition to the camper.

ovs 270 LT. I bought it from Lowe’s for 519$ plus tax with free shipping. I thought that was pretty good for a 270.

Pic during test fitting. I didn’t have the rear section fully tightened.

Didn’t quite have the courage to go through an automatic wash, but I power washed the hell out of the thing yesterday. Honestly astonished at how well it did. Only minimal leakage where it sits on the bedrails. As far as I can tell, not a single drop got in the tent portion, and I blasted the front track/hinge pretty hard to get all the dead bugs out. Zero leaks on the doors. Probably going to try a full auto next time, will report back. Overall very impressed.

Yah it’s def convenient which keeps it there but now with the big doors set it up so you can access from the side and it’s almost as convenient. I go back and forth on it but having that space especially if your not solo may outweigh having it up front. I had a slide I bought before but was made to sit on drawers and tilt which won’t work in the current setup. So have not given it a go yet.

I had already purchased the 2 camera then saw the 3. I plan to swap foe the 3 camera one. Plus the 3 camera compared to mine you can move the front camera to where you want.

Nice you added the font one to the bed. I was thinking of a way to do that but wanted to keep the front facing. Very def plan to swap the 2 for 3 camera setup this helps
