They ended up being different smh. my 2000 tacoma has studs(?), two sided bolts, one with a screw end that went into the mirror. and the other side with a bolt end that would take a nut to tighten with a washer in the middle. 4runner has a deep hole that's not for a screw. went to ACE hardware and got what I needed tho. just 3 bolts with a hex head. Fit perfect!

 

The ones in my mirror are not the same, but went and got what I needed at hardware store

I wonder if it's really that the average person being worse at written communication, or if it's more due to folks who are bad at written communication being unable to avoid it.

A blue-collar worker a few decades ago could go their entire career without needing to write a complete sentence.

It's probably a mix of both.

 

Has anyone seen front mounted winch plates in lieu of aftermarket bumper? I'm considering just welding a pre-made plate to the front frame points (on the bottom), then bolting a winch upside down into it.
