it is cheaper if you buy from the direct supplier. I bought two grills for $180 on alibaba. Sold the other grill to someone. All these companies are making a killing selling these grills when they come from the same Chinese supplier.

this build is sick asf, what kind of lift and tires are you running?

 

They might be sitting in a shipping container for six months until all this mess is cleared up.

 

First post. I have read alot of posts though over the last month.

Here is mine. 2nd 1st Gen I've owned. Came out of Arizona and I've owned for 1.5 months, 2nd owner. 1-1.5" spacer in front and 1" block in back. 191,000 miles
Currently getting some other work done to front end, new ball joints, tie rod ends, bushings... Then suspension upgrades next, pretty rough ride at this point. Not planning to change height in front alot but want rear to be level or raised slightly. Rear springs are sagging but in one piece yet. Not planning to add much weight up front. Probably keep tire size pretty close to OEM, might go to 32. I do carry some weight in the bed (+ bed cover) at all times and will use to pull a dog trailer occasionally. Mainly setting up for daily driver and hunting rig. While hunting it will see mainly rough pasture, trail roads, mud, sand, snow and ice.

My thought on suspension was blisten 5100's all the way around with 881 coils on front and General Spring HD on back and get rid of front spacer and rear block.
How does this sound?

How do the 5100s ride over stock, and about how much lift did you get? I'm fixing to re-do the suspension on my truck and I was looking at 5100s with the stock springs but a lot of reading was telling me to go with 6112s instead.

 

In my situation I went from stock tokico and springs (likely warn out) that had lots of miles on them to fresh new springs and struts so I can say that the truck was much more responsive and firm. It really felt like a new truck and not overly stiff which is what I was looking for.

As for Lift I didn't go all the way up to the top setting which is 2.75" I think. I didn't want to deal with any extra issues with the added height. In hindsight I should have as it rubs on full lock. The extra bit of lift would likely solved that problem.

Rears are new Oem spring that came with the new frame. On adjustable shackles. If I really go fast over speed bumps the stock rear tokicos will top out.

I can't comment on the 6112s as I never had them.

Overall happy with the feel. I don't want to ruin the ride although the E load tires pretty much made it hard af and I wouldn't go that route again.

 

Pretty much what I'm looking for too, good ride but not too firm. I'll keep the 5100s in mind then (6112s are a little out of budget anyways). Thanks for your input on them!

 

I am very happy with them. And yes you get a lot for your money as they're budget friendly and the adjustability if you want to upgrade down the road.

Nice looking ride. I’ve been running Tundra fronts for over a year now. Nice and beefy lower mount snd feels like better valving, too.

What kinda lift do you need for that? Rubbing?

 

I waited quite a bit for them as they were backordered everywhere. I just installed it 2 weeks ago. The mounts are huuuuge! Not a lot of difference in actual ride but it feels more solid when going over stuff.
