Why do 1st gen xtra cabs look so proportionate compared to 3rd gens? And damn, that's a good color. I still think my 99 xtra cab was the best. That was the last vehicle that I rolled 100k on. Traded it in with 107k on the ODO right before I moved to Dallas, because I couldn't comfortably park in the underground garage.

 

My boy used to have a 1st gen supercharged, and that thing was VERY well proportioned. Unfortunately, a couple years ago driving down 3009 it was totaled. I had to cry when he sent me pics. I loved the way it was just an all around beauty.

I think Taylor is just a bluff to get CoA to cave to their tax deduction demands ect, ect. I dont think Taylor has the utility infrastructure set up for Samsung

What happened last night?

 

I remember when CoA wouldn’t bargain with Dell on taxes in the 90’s so Dell moved to RR and never looked back. My bet is Samsung goes to Taylor.

That's what everyone was saying there for a while...but internally I've heard they are choosing Taylor due to a few factors. I don't think there's enough land for them where they are at, definitely not the 1200 acres like what is proposed in Taylor. Also COA shut them down during the winter storm and that did not sit well with them. Some of our tools are still showing signs of fuckery from that storm.

 

There are a couple of facilities that are power priorities above Samsung, Dell, and AMD, and since those 3 don’t pay corporate taxes to the city…

 

Samsung got enough money to build their own generation plant. Especially if they're in Taylor, gas pipeline runs right down 95
