Also, let's not forget that I took a second job at Spirit Halloween to make some extra money and got 40% off most of the decorations on my truck! :D:pumpkin:

This post has really got me thinking about the ultimate platform for a homemade Z.O.R.T. vehicle would be if we did actually have a zombie outbreak, as in your own personal vehicle or one requisitioned from a dealership or your deceased neighbor's driveway; An obvious choice would be any 2000-2006 General Motors SUV, even a RWD one. 15 years after the last ones rolled off the factory line, I still see decent condition examples cruising around the affluent Doylestown area; A Hummer H2 would also be suitable if the militia had access to a reasonably large supply of gasoline.

The ultimate vehicle for delivering militia members and their weapons in a post-zombie apocalypse urban and suburban environments would be a Chevrolet Express 2500 or Ford E250 cargo van; These things are damn near indestructible if you take care of them. A 1500/half-ton model would be acceptable, but only if it had a V8 (4.9L inline-6 is acceptable in the case of the Ford); A limited-slip rear differential is a must if the van will be leaving paved roads for extended periods of time. Cargo vans with any rear windows would have them covered with metal mesh or solid steel to prevent unauthorized intrusions by zombies; Grills guards, bull bars, and taillight guards would be fitted, along with powerful off-road lights...

If we are stepping off into fantasy land of zombie vehicles......lets quit playing.

Modify an International MXT or a military Buffalo.

I was gonna say military-spec Humvee, but this one is more comfortable, a hell of a lot faster, and most importantly air-conditioned!

You could add old Ford Rangers to that mix too. There are some Rangers around here driven by illegals that look like they've been in demolition derbies and yet they're chugging right along.

If I were going to make a "zombie" vehicle I'd want it to look more like one of the European riot control vehicles. Four wheel drive with ground clearance, fairly heavy and powerful with good bumpers for pushing, screens to protect the windows and a water cannon that I could convert to napalm. :bananadead:

There's decent amount of Chevy S-10s and some full-size pickups like that around here!

Figured I'd share this here too, with regards to me blowing my stack earlier this morning..

Bill was just joking with me, but other people thought it was a picture of some random Tacoma he saw in a fire lane and photographed himself, and someone also made a comment about the decals being uneven; I started to get annoyed by that.

I am going through some shit in my life right now that has absolutely nothing to do with TacomaWorld; A good portion of it has to do with a girl from high school, who I reconnected with and got into bed with before I realized she had significant mental problems that didn't manifest themselves until after I started seeing her...

That one is totally my fault, but I'm still kinda reeling from the whole situation and as a result it is still kinda fresh in my mind.

Anyway, the last thing I was expecting to see while enjoying my morning coffee was my truck that I worked very hard to decorate for Halloween being roasted.

Many members of TW know that I have a high-functioning form of autism called Aspergers Syndrome, and this results in me having a hard time picking up on certain situations sometimes. I've gotten a lot better in the last five years, but I still don't always respond well to being the butt of jokes and I lash out; I apologize for this. TW for life!

This is a great idea! In my city a white Tacoma had blood painted all over it with a washable paint and it looked good.

I am now, but this has been a crazy year; I got a pay raise at my main job, and my truck is getting a new frame for free, but I slept with a girl and regret it, and we're still in the middle of this damn pandemic...

    There are many scarier themes.

    Make the truck replicate:
    Alimony documents
    IRS Audit Summons
    Jury Duty Call
    Utility Bill
    Mortgage Payment
    Job Application
