Never been on that road, but it's on google maps so I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.

Some of these other guys went to Wanapitei a few weeks ago so maybe they can provide input.

    Looking good!

Curious if the TSS goes stupid though, but they may be just out of it's "field of view". (crossing fingers for ya).

If i recall correctly, don't recall where i read it, but the TSS Nose radar ignores stuff for about 3 feet and then picks up whatever it detects ahead of it. so those Hella lights should be fine.

TSS is essentially a radar system So think of it like a light beam shining out of the emblem....
TSS has logic in it to error out when it detects a constant difference from it's calibrated references. To detect dirt and bugs on the sensor.
My '17 and I chuckle every time I see one of you 18'ers out polishing your emblems.
One of it's reference points is the ground ahead, and the instructions for the calibration are real specific about not having anything metallic even on the ground, for a certain distance in front.

Since I have absolutely no clue what the angles are on the field of view are, nor any idea what the logic that some uber nerd programmed into it.

I would tend to AGREE with you...
    BUT,
It comes with a "One Finger Warranty"

If he comes back to me and says "it fucked up, you said it would work"

Out comes "The One Finger" part of the warranty.

Could always disable TSS if it's an issue.

you're suppose to be paying attention to the road at all times (with an average human reaction time of 2.5 seconds as per the Ontario road design book) so relying on TSS isn't something we should be doing, it's just a second line of defense right next to the full steel ARB bumper he should get to replace that chrome "bull" bar.

Yeah I've heard there's some possible water crossings but nothing major. I usually do a ten day canoe trip up in the Temagami region every year but we haven't the last two because of covid. With the border open I figured now might be a perfect time to do a little camping out of the back of three truck. Gonna bring my kayak and fish the crap out of it. Most of my concern is with finding sites.

ARB is weak, I bent it with light off-roading , build your own bumper. :benchpress:

As much as it can be true, it is quite tempting to ask you of the definition of "light off-roading"...

You bend everything. You would bend a tank. Not hard when you have a large mass moving at high speed against an object that immobile like a rock or tree.
