Just posting here to say, I've found my people! My Tacoma's coming in a couple weeks and I already have a tailgate pad for it. Pictures coming when I have some to share!

Dakine Pickup Pad DLX. I really wanted a Sensus Taco Pad until I found out that they were designed for the 2nd gen, and cover the backup camera on a 3rd gen.

Had I found this thread earlier, I would have come in here to ask for recommendations.

i did the same. got a fox pad at first and didnt like it. the dakine dlx is what i ended up with and works great. i like the original sensus with the chair or whatever. saw a guy with a cache and it looked pretty cool too, just small on his full size truck

A few years ago I was on a trip where we rented a truck and used a pretty basic tailgate pad like the Dakine, and I loved it. More recently I used a Yakima pad in a friend's F-150 and I didn't like the individual saddles for each bike. With 4 bikes in an F-150, we had to loosen my wife's stem and turn the bars so her brake lever wouldn't scratch my frame, because those saddles were too close together.

Competitivecyclist.com, backcountry.com, sometimes you can find some great deals on stuff on these sites. I’ve been looking for some shirts as well recently, seeing what I might find in merino wool for the fall/winter. I’ve found a few, but higher price points, which is ok for me because I’ll get other wear out of them as well.

But, try REI outlet as well your LBS - they may have some clearance stuff for end of season (if you have seasons where you live?).

I've actually been riding in baseball jerseys a lot lately. The buttons allow for good airflow and they're usually made out of some sort of wicking material. I find them for like $10-$20 at the thrift store.

Is the market still hot right now? As much as it pains me, I may sell the Yeti. Just not getting to the mountains with the baby now and that will not likely change for a few years. May just stick to the hardtail for my locals.

Still Hot!! I've sold two bikes recently for great money.
If you have some stock parts throw them back on and sell the aftermarket stuff separately.

That being said if those are XTR SPD's I would be interested in giving a try if price is fair.

I don't know yet, I need to look around I guess and see what they are selling for. Going to be harder to price with the coil, I9 hubs, carbon hoops, etc.
