Looks like they adopted the Tundra headlights. Lot's of competition coming to the market the next two years. Time for Toyota to step it up!!!

Most definitely. Pretty much everything is a guess at this point.

On the other hand, some of the early photoshops of the 2022 Tundra weren't too far off, soo.....

It's not a bad guess, we have to assume the new Tundra will signal some design cues for the new Tacoma. If it looks about like that, I won't be mad.

Some frame components will be shared with the Tundra...hence the size

The 2022 Lexus NX has a 2.4 turbo with 8 spd auto

good chance Tacoma gets the same setup

Very good chance. 275 hp and 317 tq is about right for the Tacoma and will feel quicker than the 3.5 with more gears and better low end. Also a good chance we will see some hybrid setup. Not sure what that would look like. Their current hybrid setup on SUVs is a gas motor up front and an electric motor in the back to make a bastardized AWD setup.

Here is something interesting on the new Tundras
Under the hood, the 2022 Tundra does away with the last-generation truck's V8 engines in favor of a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with a hybrid option. The standard i-Force V6 puts out 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while the electrified i-Force Max goes big with 437 hp and 583 lb-ft. Both engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Maybe they will do something like that for the future Tacos

I think this is an illusion from the more unibody "look" of front and rear coils.

"Artist's rendering". Unfortunately, expect the tires to be smaller relative to the body on the actual vehicle.

Not too mention dropping in some Icon 2-3 inch 4runner coils is infinitely easier than installing OME or Deaver leafs in the rear. Plus no squeak.

Easier but not necessarily quicker. 3" lift will likely need adjustable track bar and lower links, along with rear alignment. Upgraded lower links would be advisible anyway just to get beefier parts and more flex.

Access cab, 2WD, 2.4l Turbo, 6spd manual would be cool. Bring back the X Runner!
