Bought mine used. When you find the right version, in the right condition, with the right # of miles, for the right price, and maybe even the right color, you don't have the ability to pick and choose what accessories it does or doesn't have. Besides, a power rear window is not something I would have thought to order if I had the choice. My last truck was a Ford Ranger with the extended cab. A much smaller cab where I was able to just reach around to open/close the rear window. Didn't appreciate how far back the window was on the AC until I got it.

No regrets. I saved a bundle of money buying used and if I have to spend a few hours and a few hundred bucks making it what I really want... meh. The cost of this window mod pales in comparison to what I spent getting rid of those funky Toyota rear drum brakes.

Yeah, i get it in your case....i would of never cared in the past on extended cabs either, but i suffered a stroke a few years back, and still some mobility issues with my right side. Pushing a button now to open that that back window is a lot easier.

Man I want that mod!
I don’t have the skills to do it though... I’m sure I would strip the bolt removing the seat, or drop it down a crack, or break the plastic trim, or....
Kudos to you for doing it. I would use it all the time im sure.

When i ordered my access cab i requested the power sliding back window, so the truck came that way. No screwing around. Learned long ago if you want some extra option...let the manufacture do it.

Yeah I think I read that if you have a V6 SR5 access you can.
